The conception of Manhattan James came into being back in 2018 when the founder was wearing a peacoat in Londontown. The week had been a cold and rainy one and his stylish peacoat made him look good, but kept him shivering. From this a question came to him. “Why can’t peacoats be warm and look good?”

It was this question that pushed him to create what would be known as Manhattan James
